TecMate North America, Oakville, ON, Canada, as a wholy owned subsidiary of TecMate International (situated in Tienen, Belguim, EU), assumes the responsibility for product warranty in Canada, USA, Central America, South America, Oceania (Australia, New Zealand) and Pacific Rim countries (except Japan).
Retail products: 3 year replacement warranty.
TecMate North America offers a limited warranty to the original purchaser
at retail of this product. This limited warranty is not transferable.
TecMate North America warrants a product for three years from date of
purchase at retail against defective material or workmanship. If such
should occur the unit will be repaired or replaced at the option of the
manufacturer. It is the obligation of the purchaser to forward the unit
together with proof of purchase (see NOTE1), transportation or mailing
costs prepaid, to the manufacturer or its authorized representative. This
limited warranty is void if the product is misused, subjected to careless
handling, or has been repaired by anyone other than the factory or its
authorized representative. The manufacturer makes no warranty other than
this limited warranty and expressly excludes any implied warranty
including any warranty for consequential damages.
THIS IS THE ONLY EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY AND THE MANUFACTURER NEITHER
ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANYONE TO ASSUME OR MAKE ANY OTHER OBLIGATION
TOWARDS THE PRODUCT OTHER THAN THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY. YOUR
STATUTORY RIGHTS ARE NOT AFFECTED.
NOTE1: If proof of purchase cannot be provided, the date on the product
will be used to determine the start of warranty. A 6 month grace period is
added in consideration of time the product may have been in stock at
distributor or dealer. The number can be found stamped on the enclosure in
the format MMYY. As an example: 1209 means December 2009. In the absence
of proof of purchase a product with the date stamp 1209 is warranted up to
June 2013.
Professional products: 2 year warranty.
